ON A BICYCLE

IN 24 HOURS

TO BENEFIT UNDERPRIVILEGED WOMEN

TO BENEFIT UNDERPRIVILEGED WOMEN

Helping low-income women in need of breast cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment receive the medical care they deserve – at no cost

THE CAUSE

Vegas In 24, benefiting the Pink Lotus Foundation, was created by Andy Funk to raise funds for uninsured, underinsured and underprivileged women who cannot pay for the screening, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer on their own. Rather than focusing on research to find the “cure to cancer” like so many nonprofits, Andy’s mission is to help women who have potentially life threatening medical needs today but are helpless due to their inability to afford the treatment.

THE EVENT

Scheduled for April 23, Vegas In 24 is a 365-mile long charitable bicycle endurance challenge stretching across the desert from Los Angeles to Las Vegas with 14,500 feet of elevation gain, covered in less than 24 hours, completely unassisted and without outside support of any kind. This never before attempted challenge is so tough, it leaves almost no margin for error.
